In this speech she states there are 6,000 Priority 1 & 2 removals in SF and most ficus trees are rated Priority 1 & 2 Removal.
Actual numbers from EveryTreeSF 2017 survey database: 10,596 SF trees are Priority 1 & 2 Removal, 6.0% of ficus trees are rated Priority 1 & 2 Removal.

On page 4 BUF says it will override the $500,000 ArborPro census when it comes to evaluating ficus trees:
“The ArborPro, Inc. survey has provided a lot of vital information that we are actively using. … When it comes to evaluating ficus trees for removal, we believe this is best done by our local experts on staff, with oversight by our Urban Forester and Superintendent, whom have both worked for Public Works since 2004 and 2005.”
